Kalinya Estate is a phenomenal property. At the centre, a big grand colonial Australian mansion. There’s a huge, long table suitable for a large social dinner for 20, a tennis court, an amazing pool and spa. The grounds are well maintained, and amazing detail and forethought has gone into the design and layout of everything. We booked the grand homestead and the luxury lodge, we had 18 people, with only couples sharing rooms. Every room had its own ensuite, and it was very spacious for 18. There’s a beautiful grand piano in the music room. Each and every room tastefully decorated.
We booked Kalinya for my partner’s 30th birthday with close friends and family. It was the perfect location to celebrate. Just an hour and 15 out of Sydney city. I can’t recommend this place higher. It’s one of the most beautiful properties we’ve stayed at. We had an amazing weekend, Kalinya Estate has it all, so all that was left to do was enjoy our time with great friends. Mandy was a gem, was so easy to deal with, and helped us tailor our experience to be exactly what we wanted and more.
The Homestead
The Heritage Homestead is one of the finest examples of Australian colonial architecture and craftsmanship, cleverly combined with modern conveniences and style. It is the epitome of Estate living with its large wrap-around verandahs, grand high ceilings, and beautiful vintage finishes. Patterned cornice and artworks hanging on picture rails adorn every room, while the gorgeous polished Blue Gum timber floors grace the living areas creating a natural, inviting atmosphere.

Whether you rent the Homestead alone or all of our accommodation, you’ll have complete privacy as you bask in the peaceful surrounds of your country escape. Explore the orchard and rose garden, take a dip in our 16-metre heated pool—or soak away in the hot tub.
Wintery evenings become an ideal spot to gather with friends and family over a glass of red at one of our alfresco bars or around the fire pit.

These impressive Australian colonial architectural accommodations, which together accommodate a maximum of 34 guests, are only ever provided for the exclusive use of one group at a time to ensure your complete privacy.
